Yeah, Moonies. I can’t remember why him. The kid that did it, his mom was grifted 100k or something. That’s all I remember though.
It was because Abe, like other LDP politicians, had an history of propping up the Church of Unification cult. The shooter picked him specifically because of a video of Abe speaking in one of their churches. Abe’s family in particular has connections to the cult since the very foundation, and their ties to the LDP are something out of a “Like A Dragon”/“Yakuza” plot.
As an English speaking American, I would attempt the same thing.
